1. Definition
Money Insider is a comprehensive reporting template that helps you compare monthly expenses, compare expenses with your income and budget.
2. Usage
2.1. Data aggregation on the Home screen
- The selected expense category here is your most frequent spending category, and the total amount you have spent on that category. For example, Food & Beverages spent 472,718 VND.
- Average 15,757.27 VND/day: The average amount you have spent on Food & Beverages per day up to the present.
- Compared to the average daily spending of the previous month: higher by 75%.
2.2. Money Insider main screen
a. You can view reports by Wallet and Expense categories
You can select Wallets and individual Expense Categories to track on the chart.
The app displays the top 3 categories with the most transactions. You can select a different category by pressing the "More" button.
b. Choose the chart visualization
There are both Monthly and Weekly charts for users to choose from. For example, if you select December, the December chart will appear on the far right. The same goes for the weekly chart.
- Column chart
- The column chart for Week/Month consists of 6 columns. The rightmost column is the selected column, and the remaining 5 columns represent past time values compared to the selected column. For example, if the selected column is December, the other 5 columns will represent the 5 most recent months before December: November, October, September, August, and July. The same applies to weeks.
- The chart displays:
- Columns: Represent users' spending.
- Color of the spending columns:
- If users have a budget for the category: Columns where spending exceeds the budget will be shown in red; columns where spending is within the budget will be shown in blue.
- If users do not have a budget for the category: All columns will be shown in red.
- Budget Line (the orange line): Represents the budget when users set a budget for the category. If users do not set a budget for the category, it will not be displayed.
- When users hover over the column chart, the following information will be displayed for each column:
- Amount spent
- Percentage (%) of income. If there is no income, this line will not be shown.

The dots represent spending relative to income calculated using the formula:

Spending-to-Income Ratio = [(Monthly/Weekly Spending) / (Userโs Monthly/Weekly Income)] x 100%

- Colors: The color of the dot corresponds to the color of the column for that month/week. For example: If spending in November exceeds the limit โ Column is red โ The dot will be red.

Formula for Calculation:
Estimated Monthly Spending = (Amount spent in the selected category for the month / Number of days elapsed) ร Number of days in the month
Estimated Weekly Spending = (Amount spent in the selected category for the week / Number of days elapsed) ร Number of days in the week
Note: If viewing a report for a past month or week, or if no transactions have occurred in that month, the "Estimated Spending" will be shown as "Spent."

Budget is the Budget you set for that category before (you can check your budgets in Budget tab).
- Your expenses - summary of your spending will include:
- The period up to the current date

Total transactions for that category within the selected time period above
- Average amount per transaction for the week/month in that category
- Average daily spending for the week/month
- Percentage compared to the previous week/month
- Top Expenses of the Month
Displays the top 5 transactions with the highest values according to the selected category above, regardless of whether they come from parent or sub-categories.

Money Insider will be available to Premium accounts. If you are already a Premium member and wish to purchase Money Insider, please follow these steps:
- Step 1: Press the "Subscribe Now" button on the Home screen.
- Step 2: Review the features of Money Insider and scroll down to read more information.
- Step 3: Press the "Subscribe Now" button on the Money Insider screen and proceed with the payment.
